Topic Description:
Oral Devices and sleep apnea: This webinar will cover what an oral devise is and how it is used in place of CPAP to treat sleep apnea. Oral device are used as an alternative to treating sleep apnea when positive airway pressure is not tolerated.
Upon completion the student should:
• Understand the difference between using CPAP versus an Oral Device
• What the benefits of using a oral device are
• The effectiveness of an oral device treating sleep apnea

The Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) designates this educational activity
for a maximum of 1 Continuing Sleep Technology Education credits.
