This course instructs technicians as to the identifiers and diagnosis criteria for the disorders of Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) and Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (PLMD). Technicians should be able to differentiate between these disorders upon the completion of this course as well as understand the source of these disorders.

• Identify clinical features of both RLS and PLMS
• Know the epidemiological background
• Understand the pathophysiology
• Know the possible treatments and how they can effects a PSG recording
