This course identifies and addresses Central Sleep Apnea and Hypoventilation as it pertains to a night of PSG work. This course will assist viewers in being confident and able to differentiate between Obstructive Sleep Apnea and its counterpart Central Sleep Apnea and how to proceed when viewed on a PSG tracing.

• Identify the correct definition of and clinical features of CSA
• Know the epidemiological background and the relationship with cardiopulmonary disorders
• Understand the Pathophysiology of CSA
• Recognize and understand Cheyne-Stokes breathing pattern
• Recognize PSG features of CSA for optimal treatment
