This presentation is a beginner’s guide to the 10/20 System. After completion of this lesson the student will know how to measure and apply the 10/20 system for a full EEG hook-up as well as be able to identify the EEG sites in a routine PSG. Various montages used in the sleep lab for various disorders will also be addressed.

At the end of this presentation viewers should:

• Be able to identify the 10/20 System and understand site placements
• Know how to apply an electrode
• Know the placement of electrodes for a routine PSG
• Be able to identify standard montages used in the sleep lab
